Lights On – We’ve Got a New Look
Cue Diana Ross strutting across the stage signing I’m coming out, I want the world to know, got to let it show.
That’s how we feel launching our new website- a bold, classy, straightforward yet sophisticated digital home for all things Eleanor.
We worked with Los Angeles based creative agency Funkhaus to create the site and in doing so, to capture Eleanor in all her light. As a champion for original, creative talent, we wanted our website to put our directors and their work front and center. (Doesn’t black and hot pink just scream check this out?!) Behind the scenes, we work tirelessly to create more opportunities for diverse talent and bring their ideas to life, so we wanted the redesign to showcase the amazing individuals and projects that inspire us to keep doing what we do.
Being the only black, female-owner production company in the US makes us a unicorn, and as one such rare and dynamic outfit, we have loads of stories to tell and advice to share. We aren’t that girl who is possessive over her favorite books, cafes, and tricks for landing jobs, so we also wanted our redesign to be a space for thought leadership, recommendations, and exposure for the brilliant creatives we work with. We think of it as a community space, and we hope that you do too.
It’s pretty neat to reflect upon the past, by way of our growth. When Eleanor launched, we didn’t even have a website. At the time there was a beauty to that, working behind the scenes solving creative problems. But since then we have grown so much as a company, we have greatly expanded our roster, and we have established a stronger foothold within the industry. It’s 2021 baby and we are really excited to be here.
