Kelsey Taylor began as a photographer and cinematographer. That attention to the image is still there, paired with an instinct for performance and comedy that knows when to wait.

She works closely with her casts, finding the emotion within a scene without losing its wit. Her work moves from the viral LIVE Moms Answer Moms campaign to her feature film “To Kill a Wolf,” bringing the same considered eye to very different forms.

There is one exception to her composure: an irrational and very intense fear of slugs. Best to keep those out of the frame.
