Rich Peppiatt is a filmmaker, stand-up and former journalist. His work has a sharp wit and a healthy disregard for behaving as expected.

“Kneecap” became the first Irish-language film to premiere at Sundance, where it won the NEXT Audience Award. Its recognition includes the BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, seven BIFAs, three Galway Film Fleadh awards and four IFTAs, including Best Director.

Rich brings the same appetite to the kitchen. When he is not making films, he is making food with a lot of hot sauce. Restraint has its place. Apparently, that is not it.
