Hannah Berry George: Folding In

The recipe is only the beginning. Hannah Berry George has wrapped production on Folding In, a comedy short starring Rosie Jones and written and produced by Abbie Hills.

The film follows a woman with cerebral palsy racing to bake a cake for a special occasion. Its comic attention belongs to the situation and the person navigating it, not disability as a punchline.

Little Black Book’s 9 October feature introduces the project and Hannah’s approach to its blend of humour and feeling. The short is in post-production; release details are still to be announced.

Produced in association with The Dazey Hills Company, Gobby Girl Productions and Fealy Films, with support from the 12-12 filmmakers challenge. Artwork accompanying the LBB feature is credited to Xanthe Bodington.
